Another wonderful and courageous man is gone. My husband passed away on 17th September in our local hospice at the age of 57. I am so very heartbroken, but so relieved he is now free and this is over for him. The last couple of months were a rollercoaster. He lost the use of his legs after an emergency transfer to hospital 8 weeks ago, and things went rapidly downhill from there really. We did manage to get married though, in the hospice. It was the most beautiful and perfect day. Our 15 year old daughter and I will treasure that day forever.
Thankyou to all who gave us knowledge and insight, whether directly or indirectly. You are all such an important part of the team. I wish you all the very best of everything as you continue standing up to this horrible disease. While you’re all busy doing that, I’ll be fundraising and doing whatever I can to support the fight.
Good luck to you all. You inspire me.
Love and light
