My husband had been fighting prostate cancer for 5 years. Early on it had gone to his bones. Chemo knocked it in the bones really well. So for the last 3 years the PSA has been excellent. In November they saw “spots” on his liver, attributing it to age. Up to the day before he had a second Covid vaccine shot, he was rolling around on the floor, playing with a grandchild. The day after the shot, he was fatigued. Usual effect we thought. Finally, after weeks of it not improving, he had a check-up. Showed Stage 4 cancer in the liver. Four months later he passed away. I am just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience. I know of a young woman with breast cancer. She seemed to be doing okay. She got the vaccine and now she too has cancer in her liver. Thoughts?

From prostate to the liver
So sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Husband.May he rest in peace.
Very sorry to read about your loss. Its a cruel desease.
I had the two Covid AZ vaccine shots February and May 2021 and haven't had any sort of (obvious) reaction to them.
I've had PC since 2014 with metasteses in the seminal node. My Gleason was 4:3 but is now 5:4. Various other things explained in threads elsewhere. I'm 74.
Sorry for your loss. I hope it is a tragic coincidence because if not the implications are staggering.
I'm so sorry for your loss, way too soon. For both prostate and breast cancers, the liver is the most common site for mets after bones and lungs, sometimes without very noticeable symtoms ahead of time then all at once.
First let me offer my deepest condolences for the passing of your husband. It’s so sad to hear of another one of us brothers passing. I know you must miss him very much.
I’ve had all three moderna vaccine jabs and not had any effects on any of my monthly blood work panels. Seems like it may have been coincidental … related to the vaccine. Like everything else medical , different people respond differently …. It’s probably hard to tell for sure. Nothing on my end.
Best wishes ❤️❤️❤️
Sorry for your Loss😔🇦🇺
Really sorry for your loss🙏🏻
Really this is a very sad thing. First time, I hear this type of story. May be the side effects of vaccine is affects your husband liver, but I m not sure to say this sentence.
I’m sorry for your loss.
I had a close friend who had liver cancer. He was reacting well to treatment and back in May 2021 his doctors told him that they would give him at least a year. The first part of June he insisted on getting the vaccine. He died one week later. They claimed that the cause of death was cancer.
🧐
My sincerest condolences on your loss.I was diagnosed Jan. 2017 with Stage 4 PC, PSA of 35.
I have been treated with Lupron, Provenge and until recently Abiraterone for about two years which kept my PSA less than 0.25.
I had a CAT scan for a unrelated medical issue which detected tumors in my liver. My Adeno PC had morphed into Pneuroendocrine PC (small cell) which will be treated by chemo.
I have read 5 to approx. 20% of patients on long term ADT will develop pneuroendocrine. I had no symptoms and was in a sense lucky to detect liver cancer with CAT scan. Sadly this was not the case with your husband.
I am fully vaccinated and had shots as soon as it was available.
IMHO I think a link between your husband’s liver cancer and the vaccine is unlikely. This cancer is a sneaky bas***d.
Again so sorry for your loss.
Thank you for posting ! This is a special photo. I can see the love between them. So beautiful. I’ve yet to get the shot myself. I am sorry for all of the suffering. 🙏😩
.
So sorry for your loss. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer April 2020 and started chemo. After chemo he was put on Xtandi which lowered his psa. His scans also showed spots on the liver but didn't think it was cancer. In May he ended up in the hospital with kidney blockage and the scans showed lesions in the liver. A biopsy showed it was now small cell with liver and peritoneal spread. Again he's on chemo and it has shrunk the tumors some but we know the likely outcome of this type of prostate cancer. We are both vaccinated but didn't have any issues with it and don't think it had anything to do with it. More likely he had cancer in the liver when they first did the scan but didn't think it was cancer at the time because it is rare.
So sorry for Punkins Papa's passing. The poor kid won't know him the way he should.... Save that photo forever....

It seems like a coincidence. There is no evidence to suggest the vaccine was responsible.
I am very sorry to read about your loss. It is worrying to read about the timing with the vaccine.
