tomorrow I will have 3.Lucrin injection and have appointment with MO. T value is high compared with last April data. So I think myself that Lupron has lost effect, perhaps I need to add Casodex to Lucrin or change it to Zoladex or other or keep continue with Lucrin . In the below table I tried share some data . I need your experience .

thanks...Umit

Milk Lupron for all it's worth, then move on to casodex.

Do not go on casodex until lupron stops working. I am a big believer in using drug one at a time. When one fails go to the next.

I would get the next shot and check the Testosterone again. If it's down around 20 or less, I'd check it again in a month. If it doesn't come down now or goes back up again, I'd try amother LHRH drug, possibly Firmagon (Degarelix) which is an LHRH antagonist.

Did you have a 3-month shot in April? If so, it appears you waited too long.

Dear Tall_Allen, I got it at 29April. I had to get next one at 29July, unfortunatelly I had 3.covid shot therefore I wait around 2 weeks . Otherwise all my blood treatment lab result could be effected. I mean I am just 12 days delay.

12 days is a lot. It's effects can wear off quickly.

Sometime testosterone takes much longer to recover. Last time I went on break my testosterone was still at castration level (< 20) six months after last 3 month Lupron shot.

MO changed Lucrin to Eligard , yesterday I got shot. we will check 1.5months later PSA and Total T. If T is still high than he will change the treatment

Interesting, know some were trying for booster before cdc acts, so u could mix vaccine manufacturers, wasn’t sure about that

Good luck

Yes sometimes it recovers slowly. And sometimes quickly!

Sure get your shots on time for a bit. But if I do that and then blow another 215, that’s when I say it’s already stopped working.

Yes, the Lucrin is wearing off too fast and T recovering too high in just 4 months. Either need to spa e closer, 3 months or less and recheck, or switch to longer lasting alternative. Three month or six month Eligard or Lupron tend to wear off very slowly. COVID booster is another topic. If it’s been close to six months then immunity likely waning and insufficient for Delta variant. I know, I just recovered from a terrible case of it.

thanks dear MateoBeach. Mo changed it to Eligard 3 monthly shot, than we will wait the next test result to decide to what to do. perhaps it will replaced by Zalodex or other combined treatment..thanks...Umit
