Sorry if this is a repeat question. My hubby has started his 14 radiation to bone met in left iliac(hip area) this week. He will also be starting the Xtandi med within the next week or two. Prior to all of this cancer crap, he was scheduled for a colonoscopy. The G.I. Doc said to wait until done with radiation to get colonoscopy. Has anyone been given general anesthesia while taking Xtandi? Also anyone gotten the colonoscopy right after receiving radiation? Hubby had RP in 2004, 38 radiation treatments in 2010 and the current radiation for bone met in the iliac area.
Thx in advance.
Good health to everyone dealing with this ugly disease.

My GP has had it on recommended tests for years, I asked the oncologist and he said with my scans it would show a problem so why would I do it. I do the fecal test every couple of years. Friends have had the colonscopy and gotten sick so why put myself through that with what I am fighting plus I have no symptoms other than constipation from the medicines and I do natural remedies from that. It is interesting what they find in a CT scan which most is genetic or product of age.
