Hello Friends. After 2 1/2 years of ADT, I just discovered that my Gleason score is 8 (4+4) instead of 9. Is that an important difference in terms of progresión?

Unsure but hopeful
How did you find out you were Gleason 8 rather than 9? You had a second biopsy? If so, what made you have a second one?
No, in your case, it makes no difference whatever. You have bone metastases - that is the only thing that affects your progression at this point.
Thanks TA. That's a big disappointment.
Don let that disappoint. That was then , this is now
There are any other factors involved.
I had pathologist in Key West, UMDNJ and NYU review the same set of prostate biopsy slides with two different results. These are not like blood tests, but are more interpretations like a X-Ray.
If you want to FEEL better this research says any g8 that has a g5 component is worse than one with G4 only.

It is not your situation and is mentioned to give you the option to feel better about a biopsy opinion. It changes nothing about your treatment. If you seek confirmation bias here it is.
Per TA above, my understanding is once PCa becomes bone metastatic Gleason score is irrelevant.
Less is better . I too was 4+4= 8 Better than frickin 9 or 10
