My question is this prostrate surgery 2013 >Gleason 3+4> 1 positive margin bcr 2019 > radiation >@0.14 [ psa now 0.027 should I be seeking a oncologist as well , I have good urologist >and radiation oncologist @this point.. FROM HACKENSACK HOSPITAL THANK YOU

Simple answer---YES. The more info/input you can get the better. I neglected this early in my treatments and wish I hadn't.

I had low risk localized PC, not advanced.

SBRT, 10 ½ years ago.

Neither. If it has penetrated the prostate capsule and there are no metastases, it is "high risk."

If they use your treatment recommendation will they be going for remission or a cure? Also what would you say is (are) the best ADT drug(s)

Brachy boost therapy is known to be the most curative treatment option. It is done with 18 months of ADT. Most just use Lupron (or similar).

I think it's risky to not have an oncologist if you have aggressive or advanced cancer. The more experts you can add to your team, the better chance you have of choosing the best treatment plans for your case. When you add experts to your team, you don't need to kick anyone else off your team.

IMO it might be good to have an Oncologist already up to date & monitoring you so if you had another reoccurrence (BCR) they would be ready to step in with treatment.

Just a thought.
