I to have started using Mel as an adjunct inhibitor for my persistent head neck and chest skin cancers. My wife, just recently dx’ed with metastatic BC has been using it for some time so we have double the anecdotal inferences to monitor. Being double primary with skin and PC I’m keenly hopefully this makes a difference. I’m taking 5mg before bed.
Magnesium - essential mineral. Melatonin - essential hormone. If you have sleep issues, try them both.Also, below 5mg melatonin is an antioxidant. Above that and it becomes a pro-oxidant. Most days I take 1-2 mg for sleep and antioxidant effects. But for a week each month, I take 100mg+ for pro-oxidant effects.
