Recently purchased Pure Leaf’s Mango & Hibisbcus Herbal Tea. I checked out hibiscus-related research and was surprised at the extent of the research on hibiscus tea and the various findings. Thought some of you might enjoy this very tasty concoction. I took some green tea capsules with it in light of some findings. Years ago an IP6 study found green tea enhanced (synergistic relationship identified) IP6 impact on cancer. See Dr. Shamsuddin’s text for a summary of this study.

Yes I have come across some articles about hibiscus tea and also Marigold flower petals. There is an evolving field called "floral therapy" Flower petals are used to help fight diseases. Yellow flower petals have carotenoid like pigments, Red Rose petals have Anthocyanin like pigments. Some thing to study more about this area.

Saffron is well known example. It has caroteinoids, an anti cancer substance called Crocin and many other pigments which are antioxidants and anti inflammatory.

Nothing like a BrownUrine......... as opposed to a BrownCow.....

Trivia: Louis Comfort Tiffany used cow's urine to get the unique colors of his glass......

p.s. I wonder if the "Comfort" stood for a room where you (cows) piss?
