Mix MCP and IP6+Inositol?

Given the numerous items it seems I should be taking on an empty stomach, what about mixing the Modified Citrus Pectin and (IP6+Inositol) in the same glass of water? Or is it necessary to wait (how long?) in between? Thanks.

Huh? You take the IP6 + Inositol in the middle of the night?

I try to take MCP 2x to 3x a day and there are not enough hours in the day to do everything 4 - 6 hours apart. I try to take MCP at least an hour after supplements or food and at least 30 minutes before anything else.

What is your dosage of daily MCP? Are you taking capsules or powder?

Thanks...

My naturopath suggested up to 5g up to 3x/day. I cut back to 2x/day while on Zytiga because that has to be taken away from food too and now I am in a 2x/day MCP pattern. I use the EcoNeugenics PectaSol-C powder. Not cheap, but they periodically have good sales and offers so I stock up.

I thought supplements that were to be taken on an empty stomach could be taken at the same time, but this sounds like maybe that’s not best. Do you take the MCP away from all other supplements? And IP6 away from all other supplements? My husband takes two doses of IP6/inositol a day(morning and bedtime), and three of MCP (morning, afternoon, bedtime). Timing everything properly is a little challenging. I’m not asking for dosing information, only your opinion on the chemistry of combining or taking simultaneously. Thank you

Thank you. I think I likely speak for many when I say I appreciate your willingness to share despite your reservations. This information is hard to find and I am grateful for those of you willing to share your experiences and opinions on all things traditional and complementary.

Thanks. for that nal. L have been talking my mcp with suppllements and sometimes near my dose of xtandi which account for the slowwer drop in in the previous 2 mos from a dramatic drop in the first mo. What are the other sources of pectins I should watch for. Will keep you and the group posted for my next psa. Thanks again. Rocco

Thank you Nalakrats and the others who replied. If it weren't for the facts that (1) I do have other things I am trying to do in life, and (2) the consequences of this disease are not happy, then combating this disease would be a most-engaging puzzle.

and what about serra + natto together with betaglucan? MCP still apart ?

Has anyone seen the results of this nih study: How much IP6 should be taken for a 180 lb man and do I drink it down with a ph-12 water? I think calbear and nalakrats were trying this protocol.

My husband used to take MCP but he started Lynparza in May 2018 and one of the warnings is no marmalade made for n Seville oranges and no grapefruit. So not being sure of the type of citrus he has stopped taking it.
