Just finished round 3 of chemo, carboplatin and cabataxal. Psa went down 40 points from 243 to 203 thank heaven for small favors but I will take it, tolerating pretty well except the one eye growing out of my forehead. Looking forward to bombasin clinical trial if the pandemic doesn't delay. Hopefully I have additional bridges to cross that extends .my life and some quality at 59 I am Not ready yet, although will face whatever obstacle head on.

You have hit it on the head. We try all the ways we know how to get well and hopefully, we prevail. The box of chocolates this year has made life so much harder for everyone. All we can do is really truly enjoy every moment, alone, with family or with friends. It can be outside, by video chat or a phone call. They need us and we need them.

I hope it all goes your way!

You’re a trouper for doing both chemos at once. So did I. Made it a bit harder but it really helped knock my tumors down as well as my 498 psa. Still here 4 years later. Keep the faith! DougNOLA. ✌️

I'm floating like an upside down moth. I dress up in my John Belushi bee suit for the holidays. Just waiting for the California stay at home order. I'll have to admire myself in the mirror this year. Happy Holidays to you, and everyone here. Especially to those who are thinking "Great, I made it." This is my fourth "Great, I made it." I don't look anything like Muhammad Ali or Rocky, but I know the rush they get, and my arms are pumping air. And to those of you in dire straits, we are wishing you the best, and a special Happy Holidays to you.

I always hit below the belt ... of course I no longer have anything below the belt. Just a limp noodle. Don't even need a jock strap anymore. (I know what you are going to say: "Well, if you had two jock straps you could use them as a bra." Funny. I'll give you a nine on that one.

Or two Yarmulkas with chin straps......... (a 10 maybe?)

Ok. I'll give you a 10, as long as they are different colors.

For a 10 I'll dye one titty pink and the other one turquoise tongue.....

Hey brother- that’s a strong mix. I did the cisplatin/etoposide combo and the a couple years later Docetaxel. I was looking at Carboplatin when Docetaxel failed. Knock the shit out of it!!! Stay strong brother!
