Good news Randy-- for your health, and because a 2-week quarantine would be a bitch! I think I may have had it back in March-- had a sore throat and prickly skin for a few days, but no fever, so I didn't get tested. May get the antibody test and see.
I'd like to comment on this, the most important part of the thread, LOL! Just charcoal-grilled an Angus T-bone, broc, peppers, portabello, onion and eggplant and also popped a 2013 Sterling Napa cab.
PC... what PC?
As for COVID, I too am glad I'm taking some Zinc and Vit D (w/ Quercetin and a few others in reserve). I planned WAY ahead, too, by making sure I was born with blood type O rather than A. Smart guy, huh?
In my view, it's definitely the VitD. Here's a study just published of a clinical trial. Only 2% of people who were in hospital and being treated with high-dose Vit D, ended up in ICU c/w 50% of those being treated with Hydroxy...If it's that effective in treatment, it follows that it's similarly effective in terms of prevention.
I read somewhere that someone on ADT was far less likely to catch COVID19 plus, if they were unlucky enough to catch it, they were less likely to die from it.
My cardiologist told me that many of the doctors she knows who regularly treat Covid patients are taking zinc so I started taking it too after checking with my MO and GP. I’m always cautious of any drug/supplement interactions.
Quercetin, like hydroxychloroquine, is a fairly good zinc ionophore (helps get Zn into cells), so no doubt that is helpful for you. I have seen it written that epigallocatechin gallate (aka EGCG), a major component of green tea, is about 6X better Zn ionophore than HCQ. I take both quercetin and EGCG along with my Zn.
