23 months since chemo ended and still holding on Lupron/Enzalutamide

It has been 23 good months since my small cell cancer in my left lung responded to chemo after being given a poor prognosis. Adenocarcinoma is also responding to Lupron and Enzalutamide. (PSA <2). So my hybrid PC is now holding and I am enjoying whatever I can.

This week we returned to a favorite spot to see the native Colorado columbine in bloom. Not able to hike much at nearly 10,000 feet but sure can enjoy the flowers. Much to be thankful for despite the Coronavirus lockdown.

Great news and thanks for sharing! It gives hope to those of us who just finished chemo and are wondering how long the results can last.

So glad things are well. You both look great. My chemo ended Aug. 2017. Have been on Xtandi almost 3 years. No lung mets ...(extensive bone mets). Think we will be smelling roses for a while.

GREAT!

(I AM NOT SHOUTING I JUST DON'T SEE WELL!

SMALL LETTERS)

EXCELLENT THAT YOUR DRUG COMBINATION WORKS.

I TAKE LUPRON AND ABIRATERONE (ZYTIGA)

WORKS !

AND THAT IS THE GAME .

WE SHOULD TRY TO LIVE LONGER

THE SMART SCIENTISTS AND THE NEW GENERATION S ARE WORKING ON NEW CURES.

CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG

BUT ENZALUTAMIDE AND ABIRATERONE ARE RELATIVELY NEW DRUGS.

SO LETS HANG IN THERE.

GOOD PICTURE,NICE FLOWERS AND ENJOY FRESH AIR
