Husband diagnosed Dec 2019, Mets to bones, lymph nodes “Superscan”. Original PSA 2434.
Started Firmagon for 2 months, Dec and Jan, PSA went down to 45. Switched to Lupron and Exgeva in Feb, for every three months. Ask tooke Wrleada during that time. May 2020 PSA 153. Did scans again in June, cancer has spread to all organs including lungs, pancreas, gallbladder, liver, kidneys and adrenal glands, chest cavity ect.....Started Taxatere in June when PSA was 254. Go tomorrow for the next 2nd Chemo, total of 4 treatments protocol.
On Fentanyl 50mg and 10mg Oxydodone. Mild pain in bones with meds, good appetite but does sleep a lot. Any good news that we could hope for with Chemo? I am worried that we only have months left.

I am sorry to read of your husband’s young age and difficult situation. Regarding the break through pain, someone mention CBD was the thing that helped them in a similar situation.
I had some organ (kidney, bladder, other soft tissue) and distant bone mets (not as much as your husband and my PSA was lower), but 6 rounds of chemo took care of all of that and dropped my PSA to approx 0.2. Still here 18 months after last chemo.
"Buyer beware". The US FDA, to my knowledge, has no approvals in Humans for Cancer Indications for Fenbendazole, much less Prostate Cancer indications. Similarly, the NIH National Cancer Institute does not list "Fenben" on it's list of drugs approved for Prostate Cancer. Finally, a recent search for Fenbendazole by searching Clinical Trials.gov did not come up with anything either. The closest match was only 2-3 early Phase I/II Clinical Trials for the tapeworm drug Niclosamide, in combination with either Zytiga or Xtandi.
If it has not already been done, perhaps some genetic testing of both inherited and tumor tissue samples could be a more beneficial use of your time for trying to find a better matching treatment option?
