My wife found this on the news this morning and I thought is was worthy of sharing .Medical news May 7th. Researchers have found that ADT appears to protect men from COVID-19 infection. The study has been published in the leading cancer journal Annals of Oncology.

Would getting an ADT injection after coming down with the virus provide any benefit then?

Would this be the same if you've had an orchiectomy? I would think it's the same, but since one is chemical and one is surgical/natural, I wasn't sure.

I saw the original article and wrote to Dr. Andrea Alimonti to ask if the protection from Covid was due to low testosterone or the action of the ADT drugs themselves. She said she didn't know. I also asked about the data in the study. there are 5,273 men on ADT and 37,161 not on ADT. I asked the author if the men not on ADT included those considered cured and she said she didn't know.

I think those numbers only make sense if (most of) the non-ADT men have had curative treatment.
