Anyone Notice The Price of Zytiga?

At the time I was prescribed Zytiga the price was $10,600 per month. I just happened to check GoodRX and I see it’s down to $445. That’s amazing! Shows you how much gouging was going on.

For several months now generic zytiga has been available by 4 different manufacturers. You are possibly seeing the generic price.

I have been taking the generic Zytiga for almost a year now no changes and the cost savings is unbelievable average per month now is around $400.00 . They are made in Israel

Big Pharma is a cartel in USA. Our government (both sides)work for the lobbyists.

Great that Israel is able to market a generic. Using my Part D, a year of Zytiga cost me around $9,600. Israel import; $400/mo x 12mo = $4,800.

Teva pharma from Israel is one of the generic manufacturers of generic Abiraterone and they are no angels either. They were busted for price fixing and being part of the opioid problem. But it is good to hear now that the generic Abiraterone is so inexpensive now. Generic Abiraterone used to be really expensive but I’m not sure if it was formerly one of the drugs involved in the price fixing.

Too bad Medicare can't negotiate prices. Not good seeing Medicare getting ripped off all this time.

My cost for generic Zytiga is supposed to be 180 a month this year if I restart it. That’s blue cross part d and Medicare.
