When shopping for a Medicare D plan I found one that dropped the generic zytiga to appx 319$. It’s a Walgreens price. If any of you are switching plans it’s worth a look.

Price of zytiga
Which plan is that?
Can you private message me? I don’t want to seem like I’m pushing an insurance company. Maybe others have that price too?
Just received a letter from Humana stating that Zytiga was no longer covered under my Pan D. I assume they are forcing doctor to prescribe a generic. Have dr appointment in a couple of weeks, will find out.
According to goodrx site Costco is charging 286 and change for 30/250mg
Almost no one gets 30 pills. The price for 120 is is not 4 times $286.
For a better price, buy directly from India. My husband paid $160 and then $230.
Several people on this forum have contact
numbers for purchasing directly from India.
Hi how are you? Man i please get the info from Indi where you buy the generic Zytiga? Thank you so much!
Good discussion, just yesterday met with ins. agent and reviewed covered meds. Dec. 2, I meet with MO will have more information then. This pharmaceutical thing is a moving target.
Starting to look into this myself as my insurance terminates shortly. Best wishes to all!
Name: Abirapro

Strength: 250 mg
Manufacturer: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited in India
Form: Tablets
Packing: Pack of 120 tablets
It would be helpful to give the information. There are so many separate post about Zytiga costs I wish we could consolidate them.
That’s great news.
My plan D copay for generic Zytiga is $121.
Please share what plan. Thanks.
That’s the best I’ve seen
Everyone is posting a great part D plan price but no one will say which one. Makes you wonder if the truth is being told here.
Check out blue cross Medicare rx basic pdp. My price for 120 pill was 331$ . I thought this was good.

Cigna seems to have a better price of the choices I have. But, it has an astrix ...that says that they have to approve of it first? Then in the fine print, they have to decide if it is necessary and appropriate?
I just got notified from blue cross of kansas it is only using generic Zytiga. I apologize to whoever read my post. Learn something every day. For me Im going off in February until it reoccurs. I have been assured the generic is equal.
Answering myself. Seems like blue cross has taken Zytiga 250 mg pills off their list but still has Zytiga 500 mg pills on the list. Tier 5 but there. Makes no sense. I have to change my script to 2 pills from 4 per day. Also they didn’t say they were keeping the 500mg. I had to look it up and make a 30 minute phone call.
