Looking for A Prostate Cancer Oncologist in Seattle

I am currently being treated for recurrent cancer. Treatment started in 2017 is ADT: Lupron/Zytiga. This has been effective by my relationship with my oncologist is not satisfying. I would like to consult with a second oncologist about my cancer stage and upcoming treatments. I would appreciate referrals.

She is the one most recommended to me. I am at SCCA now. Is there a protocal for asking for a change of oncologist? Do I simply ask if she will see me? Many thanks for your response, Tall-Allen, you do seem to have quality information.

Hey, thanks, 8knots. How long has he been your oncologist? Treatment?

Since September of 2018. Before that I was transitioning from an International Insurance Plan that limited where I could be treated.

With Dr. Yu I have had Lupron, Zytiga, Docetaxel, Cabazitaxel combined with Xtandi as part of clinical trail. Currently just on Xtandi and Lupron after completing 10 sessions of Cabazitaxel and Lupron and now showing slow rise in psa..... .44 to 1.18 last four weeks. Trail inclusion/exclusion is based on bone scan progression and not psa. Through the 21 months since diagnosis my bone scans have all been good with no progression shown on the 20 plus mets. We are starting discussion of what is next.
