Hello everyone sorry it’s been a while since I’ve posted it been a hectic couple of months. My wonderful husband and I took a road trip to Big Bend, Gila Forest in New Mexico and the Grand Canyon. His health has been good he just had his second round of CT scans (hips, pelvis, abdomen) and an MRI on his brain all came back clean, before we left on vacation he was having minor headaches and and back in May his oncologist took him on casodex and put him on zytiga which seems to be working he has to get blood work done every 3 weeks and all levels are normal his PSA is 0.21. We saw his oncologist last Tuesday and she said his CT scan came back normal. However he’s been having lower back pain due to over doing it while working in the yard ( per my husband saying) my husband says the pain is muscular not the same as the bone pain. His oncologist said if the pain don’t go away in a week she wants to do an MRI on his back. Could this be side affects of the zytiga or something else?
Update! : Hello everyone sorry it’s... - Advanced Prostate...
Update!
Great picture. Great story.
Personally, I've had lots of real backaches caused by too much strenuous work - especially things involving bending over and picking up heavy stuff. What works for me is ibuprofen and laying off the heavy work for two to four weeks. I find that exercise is actually helpful as long as it isn't hurting my back when I do it. Once I get back to normal I start doing situps, starting with a few at a time and building up. When I do regular situps it seems to protect my back. His mileage may vary.
Best of luck.

Wear a back support when doing physical labor
I never really had TRUE bone pain so I don't know how to compare with lower backache
which happens after day long walking and happens only after 5 pm...also it is mild soreness type,, after a night long sleep, there is absolutely no backache,,,so I concluded that it is musculoskeletal pain. I never need any pain meds..not even Tylenol as it is mild in nature,
people who have experienced bone pain can probably describe it well for us to benefit.
He get lower back pain he says on a scale of 1-10 the pain is about a 2. My husband was working in the yard last weekend and overdid it. He says the pain isn’t anything like the pain before. He normally take pain meds as needed. His oncologist said if the pain doesn’t get better in a week she want to do an MRI
Answer: Tell him to leave the yard work up to you... You will receive my bill for this consultation shortly, I accept all types of credit cards.....
BTW What studio did you have that picture taken? Nice painted background.

Sorry to disappoint you it was taken this summer to the Grand Canyon. If you haven’t been you should. God bless
I had someone who did my yard work. Hurt my back just watching. He didn't accept any credit cards. But he took all of them. Still trying to sort out the "you are covered for any credit card fraud". Geeze.
