Despite Mike being diagnosed with PC and having several subsequent scan this is the first time a "mass" like appearance has ever been noted on his CT scan. Would it be considered "new" or would it have always been there and just never noted?

Masslike enhancement of the left lobe of the prostate gland compatible with known history of prostate cancer. There is stable retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy and sclerotic osseous metastasis involving the spine and pelvis since the study dated October 28, 2019.
