Zytiga expiration date?
My rule of thumb is to put medicines in dark non-humid places for storage.
I was hoping that was the case, thank you
this is a smart ass answer so I will apologize now. I’d take them because you will never get an answer and never know either way. Mine cost me 500$ a month after insurance. When you pick the date to stop taking them it’s random so you could extend it a month in the end if you were worried about it and had the extra cash. Just my opinion.
these are “real” 500 mg Zytiga, we have the generic at 250mg, each, taking 3 instead of 4 will help, thanks for your reply
awesome!! Thank you for sharing that, feel much better now
If drug expirations are similar to other non drug items then it means the manufacturer has tested the drug and guarantees full potency until that date when under proper storage conditions. No testing has been done about the product beyond that date, so no guarantee possible. Very likely it will be as good as fresh for long after assuming proper conditions. Really, how different is a month or two before and a month or two after?
You raise a good question and glad to see it addressed here.
I have a fairly new dose of generic Zytiga, October, that got shipped to me one day before my MO took me off them. It's a 30 day supply of the 250mg, so 120 pills. I tried to return them but the pharmacy refused, never even opened the box. If you want them DM me. I hate to see these go to waste.
I’ve used bottles, still sealed and kept in an air conditioned home that were over 1 1/2 years expired and they worked just fine
