Hello everyone,

Husband had his 6week checkup, PSA down to 1.8 from 154 when we started in June, kidney and liver functions are back to normal.

I want to thank all of you, for your prayers, I will continue to pray for all of you too, please keep sharing, it’s a reminder we’re not in this alone, none of us!

Hi, Trinity. I'm 2 weeks into Zytiga - don't know any labs yet. I am somewhat concerned about the kidney/liver affects... did your husband simply adjust to Zytiga, or....? Thanks in advance! - Joe M.

SeosamhM,

He takes 5mg Prednisone instead of 10mg with his Zytiga which with the liver, limit you amount of tea and coffee that dehydrates the kidneys.

Since we’ve made theses small adjustment things are fine.

One year on Zytiga its not too bad once you get used to the life changes. PSA has been undetectable since first month.
