Good news from biopsy

The report just arrived that a biopsy of a vertebrae shows no signs of cancer.

My original bone scan showed activity in the rt tibia and in the T6 vertebral body.

Subsequent scans showed no activity in the tibia, but the activity in the T6 vertebra persistented and showed no regression after several months of Lupron ADT. The primary tumor in the Prostate showed significant regression.

So my diagnosis is PC, no longer PCa.

Radiation therapy on the primary tumor will start soon.

The light at the end of the tunnel may not be a train after all.

Yeah, I see that question mark. In my case, it means I will not be in a study where METS are radiated along with the primary tumor. And I'm not being delayed by any more studies to qualify for the study. Obviously, I don't. "Let's get 'er done!" I keep telling the docs.

However the finding begs another question, "what, then, is the bone scan activity caused by?" - there are some really awful stuff that light up a bone scan.

But first ZAP THAT PC, SOON AND OFTEN! Get rid of this alien living inside me that's eating me to death.

Then I'll send the scan and biopsy report to an orthopedic specialist.

And, of course, I no longer qualify for this forum. Though I may sneak in occasionally to continue my education.

Lol. The question mark was actually a typo. Glad to hear the good news and hope you no longer qualify for any disease forums.

That's fantastic news, may it continue! And yes you do still qualify for this forum, you've earned your stripes! ;O) My husband just finished his radiation, and that's what he said "Zap that %$#@& and zap it often!" Gotta keep that sense of humor!
