Zero Gravity Massage Chair & NO Pain ! ! !

I had been debating one of these Zero Gravity Massage Chairs for the past year. Wondering if I would be able to recoup the cost in terms of using it long enough....I was afraid that I'd get bone issues and it would be too rough or that I just wouldn't be able to use it long enough.

A year later (than I should of ) I finally bought one...an Osaki TP-8500. My big regret....NOT getting it SOONER. Every afternoon since his arrival "Mr. Osaki" (as I have named him) and I have had a session together. I start with one 20 minute auto session...in full zero gravity. When that ends I am in heaven and relax and enjoy in a meditative space for about 10 minutes...then I start a second (different) auto session for 20 minutes...often during the second I fall asleep. After it ends..I am so relaxed I fall asleep for 10 to 20 minutes. When I finally get up...LIFE (REALLY) IS BEAUTIFUL. All my leg pain, my joint pain...and stress....is only a memory. I certainly do NOT get up thinking about Prostates, or cancer, or Xtandi, or Lupron....

He is a little rough on me...(in a good way)...but in the end I am Joy-filled. All morning long I look forward to this 80 minute(appx) "time out" for just me. I've been trying for between 1:30 and 2:30 as my starting time.

Question...has anyone else tried these? I have a regular human masseur....but since "Mr. Osaki"....he is being fazed out rapidly. I had a one hour massage yesterday with the human, but came home for one 20 minute session with Mr. Osaki afterwards. Then I felt the feeling of euphoria that I am loving.

I was afraid, but so far..it's been 2 weeks and a day...it's still a HONEYMOON. I feel like I have already gotten my money's worth out of him.

I usually do a few Hits(lOl) ....drops of my CBD oil...and I really think it does make the experience more "spiritual"....

sorry ....I missed the "cost"...just one first born child. Not really. They are marked down from 4995.00 on Osaki website (with free delivery) to 3995.00 now. However, Costco (I should get commission from them) had them on sale in a special event about a month ago...for 1995.00 AND included 2 extra years parts & labor warranty (Osaki factory charges 295.00 for this). It was a deal I couldn't refuse. I've been researching and pricing for, although I said one year... for more like 3 or 4 years.

That’s a quarter the cost of my massage Jacuzzi and you don’t have the high monthly expense as well. By the zonked out look on your face it’s working great too. Yayahahaha probably like your chair, my spa can toss you around like a rag doll ( and I’m a plus plus sized guy) and even bruise you if you crank it up too high. There are probably lots of times when you wouldn’t want to get all wet and just sit down in the house .... they sound great. Sounds like it’s well worth it. Now all you need is a pair of $3500 Stax earphones ( a fraction of that used on eBay ) ..... WOW. Really kewl .....👍👍👍👍👍

luckily the "rat sized dog" who thinks he is a Great Dane.... doesn't like the sounds it makes so he stays away for my whole "experience"...and YES, I'd describe it as as close to an orgasm as I have had in years...except when I'm taking a bite of something REALLY delicious. Thank GOD, I still love food. Funny I had just a little bowl of fava bean soup I had made before today's session...and I thought I'd eat more afterwards...but it makes me feel so good I don't think about food for a while (and that's not easy)

Nice! It looks so much easier than all the running I've been doing to manage my anxiety, and less stress on the knee joints :-)

this kind of like the ones at Sharper Image....I always throw caution to the wind and jump in everything I see...LOL. One day it will bit me in the butt. It does feel good to have my own at my beck and call....I'm tempted to go for a late night spin in him....but I'm trying not to do more than my two (2) twenty minute sessions a day....I don't want to get too much of a good thing....

I just got a different brand from Costco...a Brio Positive Posture. I found a site and did a comparison. Very similar.

I love mine. Haven't had it long enough to determine benefit for issues, but love it anyway.

The 'issues' I hope for some relieve on is RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome). I just got up from having just the leg compressions done on it. I'm thinking that may help.

Mine makes all my leg problems go away for hours....I do it around 2 pm...I don't notice legs hurting until the next morning...and not as bad. My lower back pain has almost completely gone away as well.

Good luck and good health!

greatjohn,

How is the worm medicine working -- have you had a PSA test or scan or can you tell anything?

greatjohn profile image
greatjohn in reply toGeorge71

well...I had just started the "hookworm" a few days before last blood work..and scan. Both came back a little NOT what I'd like to see. Slight uptick (growth) it appeared in one already seen bone met...and slight growth(enlargement) in one gland....already seen. Most stable or shrunk. The PSA has been going up up and away...but in very slow .3 or so increments....

I'm stunned by your Xtandi response, John, it looks like it started losing effectiveness after just 3 months.

Your numbers should have been definitely lower by now (around 0s) but at least your PSA is not doubling and that means the drug is still working, a slight bump one month is ok but not many in a row.

As long as its slowing down the disease it should be ok though, and it is from the looks of it, also consider that your PSA is less than how it was one year ago when you started taking the drug, and I wouldn't call that a failure personally.

I noticed a few bumps down on BIRM, I wonder if there is really a correlation or not.

I also wonder about why your MO didnt offer you Zytiga first, I always thought that its easier to tolerate than Xtandi, and Xtandi works for longer after Zytiga than the opposite.

Can these mets be zapped with Radiotherapy? Its what our MO would have offered if my father PSA wouldn't have kept going down, but fortunately it is (last was 0.30 after 13 months on Zytiga).

Best wishes and keep us informed.

Thanks greatjohn,

You should read my post yesterday titled:

"Published 2019 May 8: A Novel Patient Case Report to Show the Successful Termination of Untreatable Androgen-independent Prostate Cancer: "

Cabergoline is an easy prescription to get -- bodybuilders take it to block prolactin and prevent breast enlargement. Apparently prolactin is as important as testosterone in controlling PCa growth and spread. PCa uses it as the alternate source of fuel when T is restricted... according to their studies -- restricting both T and prolactin at the same time causes PCa to slow or stop (like prior to CRPC) or die. I have an appt. tomorrow to get a prescription.
