Anyone had zero hot flashes with Orgovyx?

I've been on Orgovyx for nearly 3 months and have had zero hot flashes. Frequent urination is the norm, but usually only one urination at night, waking up at 4 AM. I tire easily and it is hard to catch my breath after exertion. Undergoing daily radiation for a 45 day series.. I'd like to see if somebody, anybody can tell me that they never got hot flashes either.

I have only been on Ab/ Orgovyx/Pred. for a little over a month (just finished 28 days of Rad.) and I have not had any hot flashes. I always pee about 2x a night but now it's 4-5 so I'm missing some quality sleep. I would think that the fact you haven't had any flashes must be a good thing..?

Hot flashes. On Lupron my hot flashes started at the end of second month, on Orgovyx by the end r righ after 3 months. On Orgovyx they milder than on Lupron. Sorry maybe not the answer you were looking for. But I'm sure it is possible not to have them at all, so keep positive.

Peeing at night. Best thing helped - 5 mg of Cialis nightly, started working in 7-10 days.

I’m on Eligard and Nubeqa with testosterone now too low to measure and I have hot flashes. My understanding is that hot flashes are a frequent symptom of low testosterone. The medication that is used to achieve the low testosterone is not relevant. Also, symptoms may vary by person and at different levels of intensity. Perhaps you are simply fortunate not to have this symptom.

I have been on Orgovyx for 7 months , zero hot flashes. Some fatigue but I try and walk at least 4 miles a day and work out with resistance bands - though not as disciplined as I should be with that . Experienced an increased in nighttime urination frequency for the first 3 months, was almost hourl, which affected sleep and I am sure added to fatigue . That has dissipated and back to 1 or 2 times a night.

I have a theory that patients that don't experience hot flashes have low testosterone levels before they even start on the drug. That would be my case.

Dr Scholz says that hot flashes for men on ADT will not occur in about a third of the men, be mild for a third and frequent for a third. Unfortunately, I'm in the last group and have them 8 - 10 times per day. Fortunately only 2 more months to go. Would prefer to be in that first third with you!

I was on Orgovyx for 6 months and had only a few hot flashes. My major SE were ED and loss of libido, minor SE included insomnia, fatigue, mood swings, and muscle cramps in my hands.

Mine were trivial on Lupron. No sweating just noticed I was warm in the room occasionally. When I started Lupron, I started a weight program and a major exercise program. Over 18 months I have not gotten weaker. Arms might be 10% stronger. I notice my endurance is less. I understand that these drugs affect mitochondrial function. I am biking 90 miles a week, playing pickel ball 3 times a week and going for long walks. I sleep better on these meds and I am no longer bald. With my exercise I do not have fatigue but I fall asleep on the chair watching television at night. Overall I have a very high quality of life.

Started Orgovyx on 12 April this year, initial month I was pleasantly surprised with the SEs, little to no hot flashes, mild fatigue, no muscle and joint stiffness...alas, too good to be true. Still, overall, compared to the same SEs on Lupron, I'd say better.

I was diagnosed late 2021 and started treatment in January 2022 with Lupron. Definitely noticeable hot flashes. Changed to Orgovyx in May 2022. Hot flashes were fewer and less intense with Orgovyx.

Nope, same hot flashes as when I was on Firmagon the first four months of ADT. Which makes sense...they both are antagonists.

I have been on Orgovyx for 3 months. I have experienced all of the side effects one can experience. Hot flashes w/sweating 10X per day and similar quantity at night. Very little sleep, neuropathy both feet and hands at night, itchy dry skin, etc…. Gained 10 lbs while maintaining strength training 3X per week. Continuing running has been very difficult, mostly walking with spurts of running with very little endurance. After initial 2 mos of Orgovyx started 25 pelvic radiation treatments with compounding effects like frequent urination, abdominal and intestinal inflammation. On a very limited diet. 8 more radiation treatments and 1 more month of Orgovyx. Getting close!
