He has had a lot of scans, and the only chemo has been oral, first it was the casodex and now it standing, but the dr said we are going to try the zytiga and predispose, cause xtandi stopped working

Docetaxel is by infusion - there are no standard oral chemos for prostate cancer. Scans don't tell you the genomic make-up of the metastases. Check with your insurance to see if they cover a Guardant 360 cell-free DNA (blood test) analysis.

I am so sorry for what you have been going through in the last couple of years. So sorry for the loss of your daghter, that must have been - and must still be - very hard for you. And your husband's situation is also not easy to deal with for both of you I am sure. What treatment is he getting at the moment? Is he on Chemotherapy? Do you have a good support network around you - not only doctors and nurses but friends and family as well who are able to be there for you in a meaninful way? Sending lots of love, Mel.

Ok the shot was turned down by my insurance so they gave him a Zometa infusion and he had to be admitted to the hospital the next day.It almost killed him.
