Don't let fear control your decisions or attitude. You'll hear a lot and learn a lot about this challenge. Positive attitude and diet is everything when it comes to PC, even if it is metastatic. There are many options available, but you have to let HIM choose what he's comfortable with and what will be the most effective treatment. A word to the wise, the toughest challenge in my opinion, hi pos chemo or radiation because the is a double fight happening against the bad and good cells. Search and search some more, androgen therapy, genome therapy, stem cell, there's just a lot of options, one thing though if they don't have to take that prostate gland out, don't just take it out anyway, that can and will wreak havoc on your urological system, leaking, dribbling, constant bathroom trips. Outside of all that, stay positive and attack the disease with healthy living, and don't forget to get out there and live your life with what you love above all. Stay Up.
