Dr. Myers said more than once in his videos that his chief concern with new patients was dealing with cardiovascular issues.
Another well known doctor (his name will come to me after I post) has said "if it's good for the heart, it's good for the prostate."
Myers complained that GPs should be dealing with CVD risk & I doubt that many PCa docs pay attention to non-PCa problems.
Ideally, when diagnosed, but preferrably earlier, men should consider the only diet that has been shown to lower CVD risk - the Mediterranean diet.
One stands a better chance of making PCa a chronic - rather than fatal - disease, if the symptoms of the metabolic syndrome are eliminated. And that, in turn, will lower the risk of death from CVD.

I’m sure diet helps. My two cents — as the belly grows in record time on ADT so do the calcifications in the arteries, it’s that fast (for some men).
We are embracing a chemical free, no processed foods-Keto-Mediterranean diet.
Still, what is being done to the body through some of these drugs cannot be ignored, it’s hard to fight against it when the damage is already done.
