Looking for LU-177-PSMA treatment in Germany

I am 84j old, stil in a good condition (ex-sports man), but have metisized prostate cancer since 2016. After 2 years the hormon therapy ( Leuprorelin 1x/6month, XGeva 1x/month) didn't work anymore so I got castrate resistent. It took my urologist 7 month to find out. My PSA raised from less than 0,2 to 188 and my local hospital can only provide for 6x chemo cure. Awful and bad for my condition, but there is no alternative in Holland, as the Lu-177-PSMA is in rechearch state. So I am now taking my first cure. However I am looking for hospitals/cliniques in Germany were the new radiologic therapy is available also for foreigners. If you have any information please let me know.

Hi Ermel12,

please look here for example

prostatakrebse.de/informati...

remark: PRLT = Peptid-vermittelte Radioligandentherapie: e.g. LU-177-PSMA

best wishes

You made my day! Tried for several weeks to find this info on the dutch web, niente, nothing. Looks like our medical care tries to hide their slow reaction (try to invent the wheel and budgets again and all scientific honours).

Again thanks very much, now I can take futher action.

Try contacting Uwe Haberkorn at the University of Heidelberg. They are on the leading edge of radiopharmaceutical development.

An alternative to Germany is the Docrates Cancer Clinic in Finland.

docrates.com/en/cancer-type...

Docrates was the first hospital in the Nordics to offer LU-177-PSMA treatment. I have read some success stories in Swedish newspapers.

So Ermel12, does that mean you're never going to post here again? At least wait until we ask for a donation to MaleCare. Thanks.

Funny reaction. Why would I leave a community that gave nice and fast responses, except yours of course. If it's all about money, there is no humor and my health is ruïned anyhow.

I agree my posts are absurd. It's not all about money it's about camaraderie and information. But I admit the money helps. Your health is ruined because you're wearing those wooden shoes. BTW we do accept rare antique delft as contributions.

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

I just got back from a PSMA scan in Munich. Let me know if you need contact info. I do hear Heidelberg is as good a center as any.
