Venlafaxine and I don't get along. Doubled/tripled hot flashes, worsened neuropathy, killed balance, and took vision from 20/30 to 20/200 in 60 days. Still recovering 8 mo. later. 20 mg megace 4 times a day and 560 mg Black Cohosh root 3 times a day and hot flashes are a thing of the past.

Thanks for the info. Reminds me how careful we gotta be with the use of this stuff. Glad God blessed you with the discovery of SOMETHING to eradicate that SE, though, 'cause hot flashes were a major distraction for me. First time I got 'em and described 'em to the Support Doc, I asked him for a jug of Lydia Pinkham's and "so, how long before I grow the vagina?"
