I picked up my first Zytiga generic refill yesterday...120 of the 250 mg tablets. The hospital pharmacy charged $8000 of which my copay was $408...down from $540 for the brand. I asked my Walgreens pharmacist if they could do better and was referred to their local specialty pharmacy where I talked with a cancer drug specialist. They will take over my refills in March. Their cost is $3400 per month and my co-pay is $170.

Generic Zytiga Pricing
That is pretty good pricing. What insurance do you have?
Medicare Part D. I found out that the Walgreens Specialty Pharmacies will deal on your behalf with all insurers. You can get their number from any Walgreens pharmacist. They will mail your refills or, and they consider it safer, send them to your local store for pickup.
That is a heck of a deal. Who is your Medicare D provider. I am with AARP and my Xtandi is 560 per month provided by Diplomat Pharmacy plus a over 5,000 dollars fee at beginning of year to get thru donut hole business. I am considering Zytiga or a look-a-like so interested in pricing options.
170 isn't bad. there are other options depending on the pharmacy u get your durgs from. my foundation charges me 0. not sure how long its a pain to get it but even if u have to pay 170 for a year its a bargain
