Do you think it's possible with a PSA of 170 that the disease is locally advanced?

We know lymph nodes close to prostate are effected but bone scan is clear

Everything crossed. Just need CT and biopsy results to grade. Never wanted something so bad (to be no further away)

Although sometimes similar no 2 men will run the same exact course with this disease so yes absolutely possible. Hopefully you have a doctor that isn't stuck on the "outside of the barn door" theory because if not many mets you have a shot and beating this thing. Don't let anyone tell you any different. Time to roll up your sleeves and get busy.

I had apsa of 180 but low gleason and treated with extternal beam + adt. Had a reccurrence but taking care the bulk of the diseease inccreases surrvival. Rocco

I would try to get a PSMA PET CT if not done yet. It is much more precise .

Yes, it is quite possible you have locally Advanced PC...you have to fine out through Diagnostic Imaging where cancer cells are hiding.

What you are referring to is CTC...Circulating Tumor Cells..I know, I have Systemic Disease but no CTCs have been identified as of today..been in remission for 13-years...I know it is only a matter of time. I will choose ADT when my PSA goes above 0.2ng which is the new landmark number.
