The problem with acupuncture is that it is, IMO, expensive, you need it, say, weekly for the years on ADT, and, I believe, insurance does not cover it (at least Medicare does not so Medicare Supplemental also does not).

The OP is looking for a non-pharmacological treatment. A man in my support group got acupuncture for it and swears by it. As I understand it, it can be taught to be self-administered. They do it at certain places on the ear.

In this trial, the effects were long-lasting. In this study the hot flash score (frequency x severity) dropped by 80% at 8 months post-treatment:

Now that winter is coming, I think you'll find some relief.

Each time I broke out in a sweat I would tell myself - Aha! Proof that this drug is working!

A debate wether soy is good or bad for pc. My nat. Dr. Says a couple hands full of edamame per day could help hot flashes. It seems to help. Soy as a main source of protein not recommended for us.

Not natural, but veneflaxin. Added benefit of some mood improvement.

Agree. Not a complete cure but helpful. Definitely improved my tolerance for some of life’s annoyances as to people.

I was having 20-30 brief hot flashes every day and it was debilitating. Veneflaxin had been a miracle drug for me and I probably benefit from its main prescribed use for depression/anxiety.
