Novantron??

Can anyone comment on their experience with novantron? I am stage 4, 5+ years post-prostatectomy, have tried most everything, including taxotere and jevtana. PSA at 249 now, had got down to 40 from a previous high of 312. (Was <5 at time of surgery.) Bone pain under control with plenty of methadone & dilaudid. Thanks in advance!

Mitoxantrone was the kind of chemo they had before Taxotere and Jevtana. I talked to one patient for whom it gave a lot of relief from symptoms after Taxotere and Jevtana stopped working. have you tried Xofigo? It too provides relief from bone pain.

Thanks for reply! Yes, i was on xofigo for 3 rounds. PSA kept rising. I stopped in order to participate in a trial combining xtandi with tecentriq. I failed that trial, as PSA continued to soar to a high of 312. At that point, went on jevtana, which brought psa down to 40. But after 7 rounds, psa again began rising. Interesting to know that novantrone helped someone in similar situation - thank you!
