So a week ago my dad was told he has prostate cancer advanced, aggressive (level 10) psa level is 78 and they believe it had just gone into his bones. The consultants are having a meeting about his treatment today then contacting us. This has been a very long week of just waiting , is this normal ? Now we are waiting again to see what is happening when the finally contact us . Feels like we are just wasting time ? X

They need the results of the bone scan/CT before they can recommend a treatment plan. If it has not yet metastasized, they can pursue curative treatment.
That's why doctors call us "patients"...
