I went through the same 44 Tomo treatments over the summer, also at 2:00 PM. Side effects were minimal. I had the SpaceOAR procedure done prior, which although unpleasant probably helped. My name is also Ed.

Hi Ed..They never mentioned the Oar to me.. maybe the location of the tumor? dunno.. mine is in the Anterior transition zone.. again dunno if it matters ..Ed
Good luck going thru radiation. Hope that it works for you like it has so far worked for me. Fatigue and various other side effects are atttached.
I recently finished Tomotherapy at Johns Hopkins. From my research, it will do the most precise targeting for standard IMRT meaning not hypo-fractionated as there is literally hundreds of slices all intersecting in the prostate with minimal hits to OAR. In fact, it is even possible to do salvage radiation with Tomotherapy even after RT as opposed to just RP.
to ezhoe,
Ask them if they can microwave you lunch at the same time. You'll do just fine...
Good Luck and Good Health.
