Hey there ! My dad completed 9 cycles of Docataxel chemo last month. He has developed unilateral lymphedema in his left lower limb where the mets Are present. We are very concerned and freaked out about the next line of treatment. Doctors are saying the disease has progressed. What should we do ? Going to meet the MO tomorrow. What questions should I ask ? What according to you all should we take as treatment now? Cabazitaxel? Xofigo?

Those are both good choices. You can try rechallenging with Zytiga after Jevtana. Clinical trials are a good idea.
Not a doctor, but my husband acquired bilateral lymphedema during chemotherapy. Our lymphedema specialist said the most important element of controlling it is the almost 24/7 wearing of compression stockings. That is what Leswell has been doing, and he has remained at Stage Two lymphedema. (Stage Four PC). All the best helping your father. Mrs. S.
P.S. My husband mostly wears Sigvaris thigh highs 30-40 mmHg. Even a knee high on that lower leg might help.
