I'm 52 years old and diagnosed with stage 4PCa with w extensive mets to the bones 2 years ago. Psa was 2000(yup 2000). Began eligard every 3 months, had 6 docetaxel treatments and psa dropped to .4
It recently began rising quickly, now at 4.4 in just 6 weeks. About to begin xtandi and xgeva in addition to the eligard. Also poor kidney function due to some damage from the prostate. Have switched pain meds from tramacet to hydromorphone due to interaction with the xtandi

I’m 57 & started 3&1/2 Years ago.. D-Day or a down turn in events is more likely than not with #4 APC. Hopefully we all know that. No one recipe fits all. Sorry to hear about the pain . Hope that goes bye-bye soon , the enemy! Although you might feel like you’re 100 old at times , I know I do, being fifty-two May give you advantage in surviving better than if you were 10 or 20 years older. We both were early to the party. whoohoo! If we can remain sane and find value in living then we can make it thru whatever hurdles are thrown in front of us. I pray things turn in a positive direction for you soon .. Hang in there!
If you haven’t done your genetic testing, it’s not a bad idea to do. You may have mutations that can be targeted with specific therapies. Hang in there - long way ahead of you
