So if you are in Atlanta and go to MDA, please give me feedback. He has been treated at Emory Winship. Now that the treatment with them if done for the first part, we plan to continue at MDA. Going first of September.
I am discouraged as this is first time since treatments that he is so wiped out.

I've not had chemo but I wanted to acknowledge your post and welcome you to this site. I hope things improve for your husband. I know this is tough on both of you.
Oh yes, you would feel like that, or most people do, after Chemo treatment. That is pretty normal. Chemotherapy is a very aggressive treatment that affects the whole system.
Did I understand you correctly that your husband is trying to come off Prednisolone? Well, I wouldn't do that. My husband tried it last year and he felt that his energy-level got a lot worse. After a while the body seems to really need the energy from the Prednisolone. So I would keep going with that.
What will the next treatment involve? More Chemo? A different Chemo?
I live in Atlanta and have been treated by Dr. Vasily Assikis of the Piedmont Cancer Institute for the past 6 years and he managed my chemo. Have not been to MD Anderson, as was under care of Dr. Charles "Snuffy" Myers until his retirement.
Try Wisconsin American ginseng for fatigue. Google Mayo Clinic for their trial results.
