But also Pomalidomide [Pomalyst].

Seems they are still away from clinical trials as opposed to what is written in the story.
Or maybe their website is not updated ?
Anyway, its good to keep an eye on this
Dr. Myers liked to use thalidomide,He always recomended taking it at night as it can make you sleepy quick. I believe it is a inhibitor of angiogeneisis, similar but not as refined as revlimid. Dr Judas Folkman discovered that depriving the body of the ability top make blood vessells stopped the tumors from growing. Which is called angiogenisis.
Thanks for the reply. I am encouraged to know Pectasol-C has been studied by the Israelis and is also in phase 3 trials by NIH. I have been taking it three times a day since my biochemical recurrence. It was suggested by the same naturopathic oncologist that also suggested DIM. Smart lady.
I did have a met (zapped by SBRT) a year later, but that was possibly forming before I started the Pectasol-C.
I am optimistic that my diligent use of these and other supplements may help me avoid more mets down the road. I stop ADT next week and will likely add Avodart to mix.
As with all of us, time will tell, but for now fingers crossed, knock on wood, summoning all good mojo, etc... for durable remission.
All the best,
Josh
Thanks. God bless...... and fingers crossed
Good stuff. This site is a great collection of experience and information. To use a cheezy analogy from a life-long athlete, it feels like a team. There is comfort in that.
On a completely different, but related note, I am sitting in a cottage on the coast of Maine this morning watching the sun rise, the fishing/lobster boats go out, and the shadows lift off the mountains of Acadia National Park. Beautiful! Despite this cancer crap, I count my blessings everyday.
Good Thursday Morning dorke,
When I was under care of Dr. Snuffy Myers, he put me on Revlimid, a new version. Had to stop after 1 month because it caused blood clots for me, even though I was taking warfarin.
Best wishes. Never Give In.

Dr. AKM Shamsuddin (MD, PhD), University of Maryland Medical School reports on the anti-angiogenic effects of inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) , p. 214-17) in his text "IP6 and Inositol".
Turmeric/curcumin is also anti-angiogenic:

Quercetin has been found to be antiangiogenic:

Here is a study that provides a long list of natural supplements with varying antiangiogenic effects.
