Serious story: A gator appeared in the retention pond immediately behind our house a few days ago, so your post is timely. A neighbor has named the gator Franklin but we don't really know the gender. Are you recommending the blood of a female or a male Gus? What does a gator taste like? Is it as good as rattlesnake (a favorite of mine from our years of living in AZ).

We're new to Florida so can I make belts and shoes out of the leftovers? The gator is about 4 to 5 feet long.

Gators are old-fashioned and still believe they live in a binary world. You can text them about the changes but they won't give up believing that given the right temperature, they will be either a boy or a girl.

I'm old fashioned too. I believe if you let it soak it'll be a male (binary 1) otherwise a female (binary 0).
