He told me 5mg of Boron is one the most effective natural supplements. Not just any boron but fructo-boron. Ok I just bought some fructo-boron and washed it down with a slug of Gator Blood. Watch the video below I found on Boron.

Hi Gus,
I did a review of boron 2 years ago:
Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Boron
Boring boron - no one responded.
I was taking a nice calcium fructoborate product for about 5 years, when the company dropped it. Boring boron - nobody cares. Very difficult to find a product that doesn't have other stuff in it.
Standard boron supplements are 3mg & 6mg, but it looked as though a bit more might be useful for PCa, so I was using 12 mg.
It is often forgotten in bone health.
What product did you buy?
-Patrick
Fructo-Borate on Amazon
This one is expensive (it is, after all, only boring boron):
BioImmersion - Fructo Borate Complex:
amazon.com/BioImmersion-Com...
NOTE: "Lithium Metal batteries required." ???
...
This one is cheap:
amazon.com/Vibrant-Health-N...
The reviews are great:
"Worked immediately. My voice dropped an octave the first day I took it. Highly Recommended."
"No effect yet on my goiter."
"I'll know when I get by next bone-density test."
-Patrick
I had been recently taking it until I noted the following....??
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/211...
"Six hours supplementation showed a significant decrease on sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), high sensitive CRP (hsCRP) and TNF-α level. After one week (in samples taken at 8.00 A.M, only), the mean plasma free testosterone increased and the mean plasma estradiol decreased significantly. Dihydrotestosterone, cortisol and vitamin D was elevated."
Jeff
Jeff,
Tou are concerned about free T rising? &/or something else?
-Patrick
Patrick, yes - high T concern as I am not on ADT yet and was told to not to take anything that could elevate it.
Jeff
I don't think you should be worried about boron.

See table in:

I take 3mg of boron complex, I think it's from Swanson Vit. I see that pn Amazon there are 2 products listed when I do a search for "fructo boron." Which brand are you taking?
Thanks,
Dave
I’m going on boron... go boraxo!
Checked my boron, I am currently taking Now Boron (Calcium Borogluconate 3mg). after reading the article on LEF, I am going to bump my daily intake to 6 or 9 mg and buy the fructoboron next time,
LEF says boron quote:
"In this animal model, researchers orally administered various concentrations of a boron-containing solution to test subjects and found that this resulted in decreases in prostate tumor size by 25% to 38%. Remarkably, PSA levels dropped by an astounding 86% to 89% in the animals that received boron.7"
I know the test was on animal, but many of us have taken supplements that have less evidence!
Also, the LEF article quote:
"A review of previous studies found that boron exerts favorable immunomodulatory effects on the inflammatory process, decreasing joint swelling and improving restricted movement. Boron was also found to inhibit lipoxygenase (LOX)—an enzyme that triggers the inflammatory cascade to increase inflammatory leukotrienes.24"
The LOX pathway is a favorite target on mine. Boron might be one of those sleeper supplements we are always searching for, but was right under our nose all along!
Thanks for all who contributed to this subject,
Dave
Good article, Gus. Thanks for sharing.
I started taking an OTC, but not sold in stores, supplement called Prosteon for bone health by Theralogix back in 2015. It contains calcium citrate, vitamin D3, Vitamin K1, magnesium, strontium, and boron (as boron glycinate). I can’t attribute it to this supplement in any degree, but my one bone lesion on my inferior pubic ramus ceased to light up the PET scan, and I haven’t had any bone pain. It’s just another weapon in the arsenal.
