DX 2008 at age 52, PSA 136 pT3bNOMX, , two children ages 13 and 16. Still haven't discussed it with them or my other family members, other than my wife. Post RRP, ADT, salvage RT, etc. etc. and metastatic with GS 8 since 2013. Has anyone else taken this approach? I'm from New England and was taught to keep my troubles to myself - we all have problems and you work through them without bringing attention to them.

Me too. My kids are age 11 and 10 and they know I have a 'Prostate issue' but I've never used the cancer word, my wife is afraid of shocking them. I was Dx 2016 age 49, G10, multiple bone mets, PSA 15.6. I live in Western Australia.
