In the previous discussion on Zyflamend it was revealed that New Chapter changed the formulation and a lot of reviews on Amazon state it is no longer effective. Solgar claims to have developed a liquid extract where just 1 softgel 40 mg is equal to 75 100 mg capsules of standardized curcumin extract. This could be useful because Dr. Myers stated most of his patients could not tolerate higher doses of curcumin + Metformin.

Elgie takes both of these. Only 2 metformin pills though instead of 4.

I never doubted that change would occur. I knew this to be an effective supplement prior to purchase by corporate America. There is along history of small, organic companies bought and product quality goes down. Cost is the major factor. Troubling but reality.

He told me to take 3 pills per day of Life Extension Super Curcumin, which shows the following label:
