My husband is in a clinical trial with xtandi and mystery drug. We are pretty sure he is in the xtandi plus placebo arm of the trial. He did not have any of the side effects of the mystery drug. After only two months his PSA is rising again. It went from 3 to 5 in 30 days. He is staying on xtandi for now. We get scans and PSA tested in a few weeks.

I am on this same trial and the last man standing here. I have been on the trial for 2 years. Xtandi is the latest of a long list of ADTs I have been on. First don't be discouraged, this may be a PSA "bounce" caused by dying cancer cells. But if it isn't there are still plenty if other drugs out there.
