Is he in the ARASENS trial? Wish that one was open to CRPC patients, we'd get approval much faster.

Yes he is.

Please keep us posted on how things are going. I wish the best for him and hope for a sucessful treatament.

ODM-201 is a very important advancement in my opinion. I'm hoping approval will come in time for the many people who either need it now or will need it the future.

I will! We are so hoping he’s on the drug but currently have no idea. They won’t tell us how he’s doing compared to others so it really is a blind study.

I think that's the best way to do it. You want the results to be as objective as possible so as to elliminate influences unrelated to the treatment itself.

We all have to wait for the rseults to be published. I dont think that will happen for at least a few more years.

My father is on the same trial. He just finished his 6th(last chemo). The scans showed some improvements on the bone and lymn nodes mets.

How is your husband doing? Has he done all the chemos yet?

Best luck to both of us. :)

No he has one more! His psa was 4300 in august before any treatment. He’s now down to 15. I know that’s a significant drop but I wondered if others dropped more. He’s having a little tingling in toes. Worried about neuropathy. He’s 69 years old and was leading an active life.

Yes some have dropped more, but it can take quite a while to reach the low point or "nadir" I started at 463 and was down to 12 in one month and then slowly down to .2 6 months after that. Some take a year or even more to get to the bottom. How long has it been since he started?

I read your blog which I should’ve done in the first place. Very interesting . Sorry I didn’t read it before I replied. I guess I’m just anxious for results

Yes he's down from 700 to 2.6. Only thing the doctor had to reduce his chemo dose after the 2nd due to some fevers he's been having. He's been having minimal side effects after the dose had been reduced. However the chemo wouldn't have been as effective so your husband may get better results. Some on this forum suggested the PSA may go down more after the chemo is finished. Fingers crossed.
