"Bemer" Physical Vascular Therapy?? Yay or Nay

I had a gift certificate for a massage today. When finished I ask the lady about the large... what I thought was a large heating pad. She then started explaining that It is a Bemer made in Germany and that it is for Physical Vascular Therapy. It was quite interesting but does it really work. She mentioned something about your alkaline levels being better with this and that it puts oxygen in your blood and keeps your circulation much better and Your old cells die faster and your new cells form faster now I know that's not exactly how she explained it but that's my interpretation ;)) It is supposed to make your body heal faster and give you more energy. So long story short haha has anyone heard of this is anyone using this and does anyone know if it works or not? I have a link but I'm not sure I'm allowed to post it here. I am only inquiring To try to improve my health, lgs health, everyone's health....if it is something that will work. I am wondering if it will help with the cancer for all. Thanks so much for any input. So much appreciate 😊

Hugs and peace,

Jackie

A doc near us has Bemer. I recommend trying it out first if possible. Out of 3 people who tried the Bemer, I am the only one who felt anything. This doesn't mean it doesn't do anything but I wonder if some folks are more sensitive to it than others. It is supposed to increase the oxygen in your cells and help your medications work better. If you have any neuropathy, there are claims it helps with that. In the US they are costing about 5k-6k. Which is a lot. Dr Pai's office says it works best if you use it on a daily basis. I think it is worth a try. I have been tempted to get one as there are 2 people in my household(One is my husband who has cancer) who could benefit from it. Bemer is a good company and I think you will get a good product. I hope this helps. Please let us know what you decide.

P.S. (Dr Pai does talk about it a little in his book Inflammation Nation.. it is free on kindle unlimited.. but the part where he talks about the Bemer is a very short chapter)

Quite interesting softwaremom00. Thank you for the info. Wow quite expensive. They were charging $10.00 an 8 minute session but you need to go twice a day. The cost ..to own it was 6345.00 Wowza! Neither are doable. They had an article of how it helps cancer and the side effects of treatments. I still find it interesting. 😊

The cost of the one I tried was $25 For a 20 minute session. The list price was similar.. I think it is actually $5900 for the high end model. Not all quackery.. they have been using PEMF in delayed fracture healing for a while now. It works for some people but not everyone. Insurance reimburses for it.

i assume the oxygen will get to your cells in the blood. your basic levels can be tested easily using a pulse oximeter, and knowing if your hemoglobin levels are ok. if those two are good, it will be very hard to get more oxygen to the cells. The two best ways are doses of EPO, like in the Tour de France, or (just maybe) hyperbaric oxygen, with the hope to get disolved oxygen in the blood, ouside of the red blood cells. Whether cells can take disolvved oxygen out of the blood, I have no idea.

if this device does work, then expect to see it in athletic events.

Hi Jackie,

Never underestimate the power of electricity. From magnetism, to electromotive force, to inductance and capacitance, to the radio and lights in your house, to lightning.

Smart men and women learned how to manipulate it in thousands of ways, and this is but one. I'm sure a lot of R & D went into the development of this contraption, considering the price of it.

It's amazing how much I don't remember of my electronic training. But one thing is for sure, they're packaging more and more into smaller and smaller spaces.

Peace, J

1. Whenever you hear someone talking about "alkaline levels" your BS detector should go off.

2. "The word BEMER stands for Bio-Electro-Magnetic-Energy-Regulation and it is a novel therapy that helps to regulate the flow of energy in your body." Whenever you hear someone talking about "flow of energy in your body" your BS detector should go off.

3. There appears to be research on Bemer, but only in the "Journal of Complementary and Integrative Medicine". Who do think publishes there? Not the same people who publish in say JAMA or the New England Journal of Medicine.

4. "Electro-Magnetic-Energy" this is the very same stuff that many periodically claim to cause cell phone related cancer (no supporting studies though). You can get this for free by jogging underneath high-tension power electric lines. If the electromagnetic radiation fails to stimulate your vascular circulation, the jogging certainly will.

Thanks for asking, Jackie. Les is “up and at ‘em” this morning which isn’t to say there aren’t new concerns such as new hearing aid difficulties, lower, likely lymphatic, abdomen swelling (probably from too much modified citrus pectin?), his sister’s favorite golfing buddy’s funeral today in Northfield, MN—treated at Mayo, died of lung cancer, plus my reason for not sleeping last night which is credit card fraud using a VISA we have had forever. Fortunately an attempted $1347 charge at a site we’ve never used called WELLBOT aroused suspicion and was denied. The cards are cut up, and we await replacement. When it rains...

Today we’re loading the pickup with brush for the local recycling center, and Les has been hauling wheelbarrow loads of rotting leaves and garden refuse for future compost. We still plan for next year’s garden!

None of the above compares with the distress we feel about softwaremom’s situation. Simply heartbreaking. I know you’re praying for her and for her husband. Stay well yourself. We all have come to count on you. Mrs. S

Awww I'm so deeply sorry for a loss of a close friend :'(... as I lie here speaking to my best friends daughter who left the earth 22 years ago tomorrow at the age of 15.

I so much hope the rain lessens soon ;)) I'm so glad you you're both finding the energy to keep fighting and planning for next year's garden 😁. I'm thankful they caught your card fraud.

Yes...., my sincere and heartfelt prayers for softwaremom and hubby too and everyone here.

I am humbled Mrs. S by yours and everyone's kindness here.

Hi Jackie

I am Roland. I decided to reply on this post because I had something to add.

I hope Elgie your husband is coping well this days as I did not hear any complaints.

I had a Cystoscopy on 28 October 17. It was quite extensive as there was massive bleeding from a delicate orifice prostate gland/ ureter and then a resect to eliminate blockage with right ureteric stent.

Post operation my surgeon put me on a electric calf massager. Pre operation I often had aches in my calf during minor walking from golf. So the techniques has been immensely helpful. With post operation use of Ural an alkalineser UTI flush I was moving again.

I was amazed by my quality living although been diagnosed fully on 30 November 17 as a high grade Advanced PCa Stage 4.

Due to my stupidity when I consumed over 2 days a large 850 g can preaches in syrup I was admitted to Hospital again and now added s left ureteric stent on 21 December 17.

This time around the surgeon did not include the previous techniques post operation.

Consequently I ordered them and self administering.

I am OK now and can go about doing my routine as well as eating.

I am blessed.

Merry Christmas to you and LG.

Hi Roland 632017!!!

I don't know how I missed this message but I did. I so much hope that you were doing so good and are continuing to be so blessed. I also hope that you had a very nice Christmas also. That is pretty cool that the electric calf massager worked so well! I'm glad that you ordered what you needed and are doing better I'm just not understanding the peaches putting you in the hospital ;)) Hoping you'll let us know how you're doing now and I thank you so very much for the encouraging message. We are also doing well.

Healing hugs,

Jackie

Have you heard of a little agency in the US called "NASA"? Well, they certainly don't think it's quackery. They are working with BEMER to incorporate the patented technology into their spacesuits! Have you heard of tennis play named Roger Federer? He says the BEMER is his secret weapon! He's been using it for more than 10 years. Look him up, see what he has accomplished vs his competitors. Have you heard of Usain Bolt, the "worlds fastest man" in the Olympics? Not anymore, it's now Justin Gaitlin. Guess what Justin did differently 4 months prior to beating Usain Bolt? BEMER! There are very legit athletes, doctor's, clinics, agencies and hospitals throughout 42 countries that use the BEMER for the enhancement of micro-circulation, ultimately resulting in rapid healing and overall better health. Do the research yourself and don't just stop at the negative. Question everything! Even the competitors claims, then follow through on those claims. Don't depend on uneducated opinions. I've spent 8 months researching every aspect of the BEMER. It's legit. I see negative comments in threads like this and I just want to drop the mic and walk away because if a person is not open to leaning about it, its not worth spending the time to explain it. Sometimes truth just falls on deaf ears (or blind eyes) because it doesn't fit into the narrative of ones belief system. I have personally met soooo many people whose life has changed dramatically! Cost? What would I pay for great health, pain free, endless energy and solid sleep for life? Certainly $6K. I'm a 61 year old women and have had so many age related health issues until I started using the BEMER. I have so much energy now and zero pain anywhere in my body (even though I was diagnosed as having osteoarthritis in my hands and use to wear braces...pain is now 100% GONE and I have complete mobility! No drugs!) I don't even need coffee in the morning. Please just keep an opened mind. There was a time when consuming a certain kind of mold was touted as a miracle healing remedy. People thought it was quackery. Today, penicillin is a life saver for millions! Try it for 30 days. If it does nothing for you, return it and get your money back less restocking fee of about $590 US...which is equivalent to only 8-9 BEMER sessions.

I have been researching PEMF systems for pain relief, sleep, and relaxation. I spoke with a Doctor about them, he is knowledgeable and said he thought Bemer was a very weak system. It would take many hours and a long time to notice a difference. Here is a spreadsheet comparing some of the systems. There are a lot more than what I have listed but I thought it was interesting looking at the power differences and prices and comparing to the earth (Sorry about the format.. I cannot get my spreadsheet to cut and paste into this easily)

PEMF Device Pwr(Gauss) Price(US $) Notes

Earth .25-.65gauss free lay in the grass!

Bemer .3-1gauss 4500-6000$ - Claims to have special wave. Pyramid sales scheme.

Earth Pulse 1100gauss 500-1200$ - coils that you place under pillow or mattress. No mat Lenyo .1-.3gauss 1300-2300$ - not a mat

Medithera .75gauss 2500$ - wave signal similar to Bemer very clean signal

Biobalance 5-10gauss 2500$

Mas 25-100gauss 5000$ - 3 different waveforms and over 90 programs. Very programmable for user.

Curatron 150-1000gauss 6500-15000$ - High Intensity reaches into body

Curatron Home 70-200gauss - 3700$

Pulsed Harmonix 1977 - 3850$

Flexpulse 200gauss - $1300 not a mat system

Sota 6000gauss - $350 applicator not a mat best for pain. (I have this one and it seems to help)

EarthPulse has a veterans discount. 20% for veterans from any country. I am not sure how it works for active military. I would email and ask about it.

Greetings! Happened upon the Bemer while looking for something to help my daughter's health issues about a year and a half ago. Long story short, it has helped the 4 members of our family so much that it is now our most important possession. I was very skeptical before purchasing, especially because the positive reviews were so wide-ranging, all I could think of was "snake oil." But feel free to google what improved blood flow would do for your body, and see that yes, it can help many different people in many different ways. For only $10 a session, I strongly suggest trying it. However, keep in mind that the principle here is "low and slow," so I wouldn't expect you to feel much right away. My purchase was over $6,000, which almost gave me a heart attack, but think about it mathematically: 4 people getting the health benefits of increased blood flow for the next 20 years. WAY cheaper than my yoga class!!
