My Oncologest changed my ADT from Zoladex to Lupron. My last 3 month implant was Jan 13. The other day noticed a lump at the injection site about the size of a large jelly bean. I never noticed anything while taking Zoladex. Anyone else experienced this?

I've been on Lupron for six years, after a short stint on Trelstar. My experience has been a pancake like lump, but below the skin. What bothers me is the week long ass cheek pain. Ugghh!
Did your onc explain why the change? I chose Zoladex over Lupron and I was happy for all 14 years that I used it. Paid $25 deductible per three shots. Small change for the relative benefits. Hardly any side effects except for the low libido when I was on it. I did intermittent so I had vacations between cycles.
Normal. I took Lupron for six years. It will dissipate
