Are amphetamines better?

iv been on concerta about 5-6 wees now and recently they increased me to 54mg. 4 days in & had to step down to 36mg as it was causing tachycardia/ panic attacks & mania . My vitals have always been in the healthy range with never any heart issues.

I have always been hyperactive but feel concerta has heightened my symptoms mentally as well as physical. I’m also more impulsive. Iv asked to switch to Elvanse as iv heard it has that edge & can raise small amounts if serotonin too which I feel I need to regulate my emotions & mood. Has anyone else felt like this on concerta? And is elvanse more calming? I’m 54.

Thanks🙏
