Ok! Here’s an honest confession: I never can remember to take my meds- I have tried reminders in my phone, a rubber band around my wrist, a tone on my phone, even having someone email me- and I seem to forget. I do have to be careful to not take it on an empty stomach, and I don't typically eat breakfast, and that makes it worse.
So, I ask, how do you do it? Is there a secret I'm missing? Some magical power I seem to not be attuned to?

If you have a significant other or close person you are living with, I would ask them to remind you at a certain time every day, or for them to bring you your medication
I have water and my pills next to my bed and a pills alarm. Not 100% but having water and pills together where I see them right away improved things. How small of something is enough food? Thinking like if you have a couple crackers or a granola bar or piece of bread (just throwing out ideas) handy along side your pills and water it might help with the food part. What do you think?
I am lucky in that I don't have the problem. I have a nephew who does have your problem. He takes his pills twice a day at the same time. He has an alarm clock with the water & pills ready for him. He has his mother also tell him. You might be good if you have a family member, friend, or partner to remind you. My sister had that problem with her meds and she went to a Daytime Mental Health Clinic in her neighborhood where they injected here medicine into her everyday. I'm sorry I can't give you better advice. Oh, I have to take my meds with food, so I always have a banana, along with a cup of cottage cheese, and two yogurts. You can also try a bagel with butter. Best of luck to you. I hope you figure out a solution.
my brother takes his bipolar meds by getting a shot every 3 months… maybe it’s an option for adhd meds? I usually have my meds where I sit for work at home, and have an alarm. My partner forgets if I don’t remind him.
