Here’s to 2024….

Well, we come to that point in the year where one ends and the new one begins. For me, and many I know, one year seems to drift from one to another without a beginning or an end. Any of you feel that way?

It's also that time when many spend hours pouring over the great things they wish to accomplish in the new year. They create these lofty, dream-like goals, most of which are totally forgotten come MLK, Jr.’s birthday.

I'm trying to not waste my time on goals, but in creating systems that are easier to tackle, and should lead me to a place where they become also obtainable. How about y’all?

For me, 2024 was no different than any other year, and I don't see things becoming drastically better in 2025, but that could just be the ADHD talking. I have lots of ideas, many of which aren't super difficult to implement, but my motivation just seems to be gone. Anyway, here’s to 2025 and my raising a glass 🍷 to you all. May it be our best year yet!

This year was rough, but I'm back in therapy and have found a psychiatrist for medication management. My goals are to obtain an ADHD Coach to help me with developing home routines and support me while taking 2 college classes and to work with a peer supporter.

I'm no ADHD Coach, but I've been studying to become one. I've spent the last 2 years reading on the subject, talking with my therapist, and talking with others with ADHD. I hope to take the class later this year. If you'd like to at least talk, lets make it happen. Thoughts?

That sounds cool, especially if you need a test subject for your class. Let me know how we can best make this happen- safely.
